Expanding the presence of Samsung Electronics outlets in Qatar, Ali Bin Ali Holding’s Dohatna Innovative Distribution has launched the fifth Samsung outlet in Doha. Inaugurated on January 21, 2021, the kiosk is located near gate 6 of the popular Landmark Mall and is strategically placed near Carrefour hypermarket.
The new outlet has the full brand line-up of Samsung mobile phones, tablets and accessories and is sure to become a favorite among Samsung loyalists. On the occasion of the launch, the new Samsung Electronics outlet will be offering some exclusive promotions on Samsung mobile, tablets and accessories from January 21 to 31, 2021.

Ali Bin Ali Holding’s Dohatna Innovative Distribution, the official partner of Samsung Electronics, On December 10, 2019 announcedthe launch of ‘Samsung Travel Companion’ program. Exclusive for travelers with Galaxy smartphones, the program will be live at the Qatar Duty Free Samsung Brand Shop located at the departure terminal within Hamad International Airport from December 12, 2019 to February 12, 2020.
Travelers with Samsung Galaxy smartphones will benefit from various services offered as part of the program at the Samsung Brand Shop – including support with software update, data transfer and general consultation about their device. While program is live, customers and program participants will be offered a travel pouch as a gift.

Ali Bin Ali Holding’s Dohatna Innovative Distribution recently organized a training workshop on the features and benefits of the newly launched Galaxy Note10 lineup for Samsung dealers in Qatar.
The Note10 and Note10+ have elicited a huge interest in the country during the pre-order period, prompting Dohatna — the official distributor of Samsung in Qatar — to extend a pre-order purchase benefit for a few more days.
A limited number of Galaxy Buds are now available at all Dohatna Innovative Distribution outlets and a pair will to be given away with each purchase of a Note10 or Note10+. The offer is being rolled out on a first-come-first-served basis.
The product training, held at Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel and Villas in West Bay Lagoon on August 21, 2019, was designed to enable salespersons to develop a deeper understanding of the Note10 offerings so that they can help customers make the right choice.
The exhaustive workshop covered everything – from the hardware to the technical know-how to equip the salespersons to address any queries potential customers may have.
“Samsung’s latest Note10 series features some of the most technically advanced smartphones. They offer a plethora of features; some of them are easily understood and others not so much. We want the Note10 customers to have an elevated experience at the stores — be it for a first-time Samsung user or the most discerning customer. The workshop was meant to do that,” said Mr. Mohammed Imran, General Manager, Dohatna Innovative Distribution.
Mr. Imran also explained that the workshop was aimed at empowering salespersons with product knowledge so that they feel confident and passionate about what they are selling. “We had our potential customers at the center while designing the workshop module, which gives much importance to customer experience rather than sales techniques,” he added.
Dohatna’s Trade Marketing Manager, Mr. Deepak Jayaram, said, “Through the workshop, we brought together sound technical knowledge and good sales behavior within clearly defined parameters of transparency and honesty. We are sure our customers will appreciate the effort we put into this program.”
He added, “Understanding customer needs and managing many other parts of the sales process are about transferring confidence. The workshop was anchored to accomplish this transfer of confidence.”
Mr. Jayaram said the training laid strong emphasis on properly communicating the key features of the Note10 series to customers.

With the training program, we have made sure our salesforce is in a better position to educate customers about them,” Mr. Jayaram added.
Ali Bin Ali (ABA) Group’s FMCG division – Dohatna Innovative Distribution continues to make steady progress by expanding its presence in the Qatar market. Accordingly, Dohatna has inaugurated the fourth Samsung Experience Store at Al Khor Mall.
On May 24, 2018, the store was ceremoniously opened on the first floor of Al Khor Mall. The event was attended by Managing Director of Samsung Qatar Mr. Andrew Shin, ABA Chief Operating Officer – FMCG Mr. Nabil Mourad, Dohatna General Manager Mr. Mohammed Imran and other members of the ABA Operating Board.

The new outlet is a landmark in Dohatna’s journey as it marks their maiden presence in the retail market. The store will allow easy access for customers in Al Khor to get Samsung authorized stocks, including mobiles, tablets and mobile accessories.
The Al Khor store comes after the successful presence of Dohatna is in The Mall, City Center Mall and Doha Festival City.
Bringing another much-anticipated product to the Qatari market, Ali Bin Ali Group’s Dohatna Innovative Distribution launched the Samsung’s latest smartphone S8 and S8+ in Qatar on April 18.
The exclusive launch event at Four Seasons Hotel was attended by around 150 VVIPs and media persons from all over Qatar.
Mr. Adel Ali Bin Ali, ABA Group Chairman & President along with Mr. Ismail Yoon – President, Samsung Gulf Electronics cut the ribbon and let the helium balloons lift the cloth up into the air to reveal the new series.
