Ali Bi Ali Logistics Division, with around 200 employees, effectively smoothes the supply chain for Group activities. It is also able to offer a full menu of Third Party logistics services from clearing and forwarding to warehousing and distribution. The division's responsibilities lie both within and outside the ABA chain, drawing together Principals, Sales and Marketing teams, retailers and end-users.

With its extensive reach, Ali Bin Ali Logistics is the premier logistics provider in the country and to ensure it remains at the top of its field, the division constantly reviews its systems that are fully computerised and employs the latest warehouse management software at the evaluation and tracking stages. This system takes into account inventory control, pallet identification, warehouse movement, stock locator and interfaces to warehouse control.

Ali Bin Ali Logistics has a continuous flow of product, closely matching consumer demand and guarantee a 24-48 turn around on delivery once the order is placed ensuring a short replenishment cycle.

The division works in close co-operation with the State's Department of Customs, handling over four hundred 20Ft equivalent units per month arriving by land, sea and air. Customs formalities are completed swiftly to ensure goods are taken to controlled storage conditions without undue delay.

Its warehousing facilities provide storage to international standards, with full provision for the segregation of food and non-food items and the exacting conditions required for various products. Over 17,000 square metres of floor-space at the warehouses is equipped with conventional single-access pallet racking. According to requirements, warehousing temperatures are controlled at + 26 degrees Celsius; + 18 degrees Celsius; +5 degrees Celsius and with frozen temperatures to -25 degrees Celsius.

A fleet of electrically operated reach and counterbalance forklift trucks operate within the warehouses. Distribution is currently achieved using a modern fleet of 45 vehicles including Heavy Trucks for land transport of containers and range of delivery trucks and vans for domestic deliveries. Many of these vehicles are insulated and carry refrigeration units. The entire Group fleet of over 150 vehicles is fully maintained and serviced by qualified staff of Ali Bin Ali Logistics.

The division constantly seeks to provide an ever-widening range of facilities to support the Group's predictable growth and the increasing number of overseas Principals and third parties it serves.
